New reform minded government has initiated wide ranging economic reforms with massive investments in infrastructure and energy.
Government has a programme to build 35.000 MW new energy capacity to satisfy the increasing market need. Renewables (solar, wind, biomasses and industrial side-streams), municipal solid waste, off-grid- and smart grid solutions provide interesting business opportunities.
Indonesia has the region's greatest need for new infrastructure. Government has started an ambitious programme to accelerate the growth in infrastructure spending. The majority of a wide variety of construction packages belong to the Ocean Highway program: 24 harbors, 15 airports, 45.000 km of power transmission lines, 3.285 km of railways, 60 ferry harbors, MRT for 23 cities, 2 x 300k barrel/d oil refineries, 8 clusters of mini refineries etc.

Team Finland Energy Growth Program will extend the visit to Indonesia and organize for its member companies additional 2-3 day business meetings during 7-9 June 2017. The target is to meet with identified project owners, project developers, decision-makers, stakeholders and financiers. Consultant identifies relevant counterparts during March-May 2017. To cover the expenses, Finpro will charge a participation fee for arrangements in Indonesia for 5-6 June 2017:
- Micro businesses and SMEs: EUR 1470 + 24% VAT per person
- Major companies: EUR 2300 + 24% VAT per person
Finpro will invoice the participation fee after the visit based on the actual costs. The invoiced fee does not exceed the amounts mentioned above.
